Veterinary Services
Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care, early detection and treatment of disease and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during your pet’s lifetime.
We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best!
Fear Free Initiative
Our mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets, especially in the veterinary setting. Our hospital has taken many steps to reduce your pets anxiety in all of their lifestages.
Annual Physical Exam and Preventative Care
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems and keep your pet healthier overall.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets’ complete health care needs. We are now providing therapeutic laser therapy for a variety of arthritic conditions, to speed wound healing and treat chronic inflammation.
Radiology Services
Our on-site, state of the art digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Standard radiographic views as well as contrast studies can be performed at our hospital. Having a digital copy of the images also enables us to send emails with attachments within minutes.
Anesthesia
We utilize a combination of the safest and most dependable available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. All patients undergoing anesthesia are under the constant supervision of a technical staff member from induction (start of anesthesia) to recovery. While no anesthetic procedure is risk-free, we can minimize this risk with careful attention to your pet’s health status.
Surgical Services
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Our doctors have many years of experience under their belt when it comes to small animal surgery.
Dentistry
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. Dental disease is a common problem in small animals and is often overlooked.
Internal Medicine Consults
We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialty group who perform ultrasounds and endoscopic procedures and help us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases. We enjoy the luxury of having easy access to specialists in dermatology, oncology, medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedic and neurology all located near the hospital.
Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Pharmacy
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also offer a home delivery pharmacy that works with our office to provide rapid delivery of prescribed medications.
Permanent Identification
We offer microchip identification using the Save This Life microchip.
Individualized Flea and Tick Control
We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet. We recommend NexGard, as well as Frontline Gold, as the most effective flea and tick prevention available.
Dietary Counseling
We will provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. Our main prescription diet food is Hill’s Science Diet, but we can also order many others so that we can tailor our nutritional recommendations to your pet’s condition and diet preferences.
